Burden Iron Works - Troy, NY
Burden Iron Works - Workshops and smithies no longer in existence but the Main Office building contains the display for the Hudson Mohawk Industrial Gateway Museum. Burden became famous with an automated machine capable of making horse blanks one every second in 1851 as well as a machine designed to make railroad spikes. Museum visits available by appointment.
