Blacksmithing Competition

Smiths will have 1½ hours to forge a pair of V-bit bolt tongs with drawn out reins.

Stock will be provided, 5/16 inch rivet will be provided. Coal will be available

A limited number of forges and anvils will be available (1 or 2) for contestant use.

Contestants should bring a portable blacksmithing set up with manual (non-electric) bellows or blower. No power tools allowed.

This is a solo completion, no helpers or fire tenders allowed.

Contest held Saturday June 13^th from 1PM to 2:30PM Entry fee S10.00

There will be Prizes, categories to be determined depending on number of entrants.
