The Albany County Historical Association at Ten Broeck Mansion is currently planning Living History Day: Digging up History for Sunday, May 3rd, from 12-4 pm. We'd like to invite you to participate, and you'd be welcome to bring artifacts or give demos. We especially welcome family-friendly activities, activities where kids can participate, and demonstrations related to historical living and creating (e.g. blacksmithing if possible, painting, dress/costume, cooking.) The theme is "Digging up History," which connects especially to archeology, planting, and genealogy, but we welcome all sorts of historical activities, especially those related to living history.
