Jim, as promised, talked and demonstrated about how to forge-weld iron. As usual, Jim did a terrific job. Steve demonstrated how to make tongs out of 1/2" square stock. Another successful demo by Steve. Steve incidentally, will be giving Blacksmithing classes at the Adirondack Folk School. If you have the time, I would recommend signing up for Steve's classes as, we have all seen many times, Steve is a Master Smith.

Please note, there will be NO December meeting. The January meeting will be on the 25th of January. The Demo topic is still open and if you would like a topic demonstrated let Jim (439-5439) know - or if you would like to demonstrate for that month, also let Jim know. The February meeting , I believe Mike Cataldo is handling.
