This is approximately the 23rd year that the Age of Iron event has been hosted at the Hancock Shaker Museum on Rte. 20 in Pittsfield, Mass. The Age of Iron was originally conceived by the Berkshire Blacksmith group as they were originally located at the museum and manned the BS shop there (and still do!). Our association, CDBA, has also been fully involved at the museum and the shop there over the years. This has always been a fun time and a great chance to connect or re-connect with blacksmiths from different geographical areas.
