This month we're meeting at Mike Cataldo's shop, Aggressive Metalworks. Mike is going to give an introduction to MIG welding, show how the machine works and demonstrate welding technique. He will guide and assist you in welding together your own fullering tool based off the one that Jim Moran demonstrated during our October meetup (see photo). Mike will provide the pieces and show you how to weld them together. If you have a welding helmet (or extras), please bring them as we only have a few. After the event we can fire up the forges for some open forge time.

To ensure we have enough supplies for everyone, if you wish to participate and take home a fullering tool (free!):

• You must RSVP by January 20th to info@cdblacksmiths.org
• Please let us know whether you want a vise tool or a Hardy tool
• If you want a Hardy tool, let us know the size of your Hardy hole (1", 3/4", etc)

As always, safety glasses required, cotton only clothing and closed-toed shoes.
